PARENTING IS A MINDSET
Like many new mums, I have studied how to be a better mum with renowned parenting experts and read numerous parenting books along the journey. I have experienced advice that worked incredibly well which put victorious smiles on my face and some that did not make sense at all.
It was Dr. Shifali Tsabary and Dr. Bruce Lipton who completely shifted my mindset onto conscious parenting. It has been a game-changer.

Dr. Lipton explains: In the first seven years of our life, the brain is in the imaginary state called theta. Children between the ages of two and seven mix the real world and the imaginary world all the time. Their conscious mind is not working at a predominant activity, but rather in a state of hypnosis.
A child learns behavior by watching other people's behavior. By observing the behavioral patterns of people in their immediate environment—primarily parents, siblings, and relatives, children learn to distinguish acceptable and unacceptable social behaviors. It’s important to realize that perceptions acquired before the age of six become the fundamental subconscious programs that shape the character of an individual’s life.
Children's health starts before birth
According to Dr. Thomas Verny in his book "The Secret Life of the Unborn Child" - The studies show, awake or asleep, they (unborn children) are constantly tuned in to their mother’s every action, thought, and feeling. From the moment of conception, the experience in the womb shapes the brain and lays the groundwork for personality, emotional temperament, and the power of higher thought.
PLUS, our mitochondria are inherited from our mothers only.
Unsurprisingly, parents especially mums, have a big role to play in shaping children's health and life.
Our happiness and wellbeing is the single most valuable gift we can give to our children.
